
OSHA Outreach Training
OSHA ‘10-hour’- Construction
This course, provided by an OSHA-authorized trainer, provides workers with awareness of common job-related safety and health hazards, and basic OSHA regulatory safety and health information. Specifically, this training will instruct attendees on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and revention of safety and health hazards for those in the construction industry. It is important to note, per OSHA, this is a voluntary program and does not meet the training requirements for any OSHA standards. Although some states, municipalities or others may require outreach training as a condition of employment, it is not an OSHA requirement. None of the courses within the Outreach Training Program are considered a certification. Attendees will receive an OSHA 10-hour ‘card’ recognizing their completion of the course.
Intended Audience:
Entry Level Construction Workers, Foremen, Business Owners,
Safety Committee Members, EHS Professionals, Loss Control & Risk Management
Professionals.
Course Time:
10-hours (Scheduling for the course will be determined on a case-by-case
basis)

OSHA ‘30-hour’- Construction
This course, provided by an OSHA-authorized trainer, is intended to provide workers with
some safety responsibility a greater depth and variety of training. All outreach training is
intended to cover an overview of the hazards a worker may encounter on a job site. Training
emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards.
It is important to note, per OSHA, this is a voluntary program and does not meet the training
requirements for any OSHA standards. Although some states, municipalities or others may
require outreach training as a condition of employment, it is not an OSHA requirement. None
of the courses within the Outreach Training Program are considered a certification.
Attendees will receive an OSHA 30-hour ‘card’ recognizing their completion of the course.
